Ceylon Cinnamon
Harvested from the bark of the Cinnamomum Verum tree, a moderately sized bushy evergreen tree endemic to Sri Lanka, Ceylon Cinnamon is commonly called ‘true cinnamon’ across the globe for good reason. Often preferred over other varieties due to its unique flavour and aroma, it is proven to provide excellent health benefits. In the Sri Lankan time-honoured cinnamon cultivation tradition, individual strips of the inner bark are hand-rolled into cigar-shaped quills. Made with care by our farmers, use these organic cinnamon sticks when cooking and baking to enhance the taste of your preparations. -
Cloves
Cloves are the immature buds of the evergreen tree Syzygium Aromaticum which flourishes in the humid tropical regions of the country such as Kandy. Ceylon Clove is known to be especially richer in oil compared to other types. Commonly used to add a subtle sweetness and aroma to both savoury and sweet dishes. -
Mace
These vibrant red-hued membranes that surround the nutmeg seeds are called mace. They can also add a uniquely spicy-sweet, nutty and warm flavour to your savoury preparations, pairing well with meats, roasts and curries. -
